Job summary

PT Global Yimi Cargo (J&T Cargo) is seeking a senior Accounting & Tax leader in Jakarta to oversee the full spectrum of accounting and tax functions. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and statutory reporting, while coordinating with auditors and tax authorities.

The role requires a decade of relevant experience, strong knowledge of Indonesian standards, and leadership capabilities to drive process improvements and team development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Taxation.
• 10+ years of relevant experience and proven managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards, taxation regulations, financial reporting, and audit processes.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work with senior management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiar with accounting/ERP systems.
• Good command of English; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Accounting and Tax functions; ensure accurate financial reporting and tax compliance.
• Manage monthly and annual financial closing, financial statements, tax reporting, and statutory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian accounting standards, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, tax authorities, and internal stakeholders on accounting and tax matters.
• Lead and develop the Accounting & Tax team; drive process improvements, internal controls, and operational efficiency.
