Job summary

A leading eCommerce platform in Jakarta is seeking a qualified accountant to manage a full set of accounts, prepare financial reports, and assist the Accounting Manager with audits. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience, a degree in Accounting or Finance, and strong attention to detail. Prior experience with Oracle (NetSuite) is a plus. Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACCA/CPA/Degree in Accounting and Finance is preferred.

Job Description

Handle a set of accounting including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivables, inventories and general ledger

Summarise current financial status by preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports including deep-dive on variance analysis

Prepare and record journal entries, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with accounting standards

Conduct month-end and year-end close process activities

Ensure completeness and accuracy of audit schedules and reconciliations

Substantiates financial transactions by collating and reviewing supporting documents

Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures

Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information

Monitor cash balances to ensure sufficient funds for operational needs

Assist in other ad-hoc queries to support the daily business tasks

Assist the Accounting Manager in audit and other accounting related tasks

Qualifications

Qualified accountant with ACCA/CPA/Degree in Accounting and Finance is preferred

Minimum 3years of experience in handling full set of accounts

A high level of rigour, energy, discipline and pro-active ability to operate independently and in team

Attention to detail and deadline-oriented

Ability to work in an unstructured environment where continuous learning and adapting is required to support business growth and experimentation

Be result-driven with a strong commitment to deliver within timelines, and able to learn and adapt quickly to different interlocutors, contexts and teams

Experience in Oracle (NetSuite) would be an added advantage
