Job summary

Pt. Edukasi Mandiri Pratama, an inclusive international school in Makassar, Indonesia, is seeking a dedicated Special Education Needs (SEN) Coordinator to oversee support for students with diverse learning needs.

You will develop policies, coordinate IEPs, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and external specialists to ensure appropriate accommodations and interventions. The role requires strong organizational and leadership skills, experience in SEN, and a commitment to inclusive education

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Certification in Special Education Needs support is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years experience working directly with students with SEN, with coordination/leadership exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of SEN program and policies.
• Coordinate identification, assessment, and support for students with diverse learning needs.
• Develop and oversee IEPs for students.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement inclusive teaching practices.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about progress and needs.
• Work with external agencies to secure support.
• Provide SEN-related training to staff.
• Maintain accurate records for students receiving SEN support.
• Advocate for the rights and needs of students with SEN.
• Monitor effectiveness of interventions and adjust as needed.
