We are a leading Indonesian oil palm seed producer specialising in high-yielding, non-GMO planting materials. Our flagship products and services include:

Verdant Select- A semi-clonal seed derived from elite Dura female clones crossed with Pisifera males, offering early maturity, high oil extraction rates, and uniformity; and

Verdant V-80 - The latest generation of conventional Dami DxP seeds known for larger fruit bunches and sustained high yields over the plantation lifecycle.

Agronomic Services - These products are supported by Verdant’s comprehensive agronomic services, including nursery management, pest and disease control, soil and plant nutrition analysis, all aimed at maximising client ROI and sustainability.

Commercial Release by 2029 – We are pioneering the development of fully field-tested F1 Hybrid oil palm seeds, projected to double yields and scheduled for commercial release by 2029. This groundbreaking technology will be a world first in oil palm seed science.

About the Role

As a key member of our commercial team, your primary responsibility is to follow our best practice consultative sales approach, build trusted relationships, ensure you understand their operational and strategic needs, articulate our product value, present suitable solutions from our seed portfolio, and support them through the decision-making process.

You are expected to take ownership of driving sales performance to achieve your individual sales goals whilst contributing to the overall achievement of the team's goals and a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

The role requires regular travel, including to Jakarta and remote plantation sites.

Senior Seed Solutions Executive - Understand the oil palm industry, the typical customer challenges, the problems we solve and the products and solutions we provide.

Wider Team– Collaboratively support you to ensure alignment with our commercial strategy and client engagement standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation - Identify and prioritise potential new companies and contacts within our ideal target market.

Your Experience and Qualifications

You possess the following experience and qualifications:

University Degree - In Agriculture, Agronomy, Plant Biotechnology or in Business with an agricultural focus.

Knowledge of Oil Palm Cultivation (preferred) - Good understanding of oil palm agronomy, including planting cycles, productivity indicators (FFB, OER), and the agronomic factors influencing yield potential (e.g. seed genetics, soil conditions, pest and disease management).

Agribusiness Sales Experience (2 to 5+ years) – Proven track record in B2B sales within the agricultural or plantation sector, ideally involving oil palm, seed production, or crop inputs (such as fertilisers, agrochemicals, or agricultural equipment). Strong analytical and commercial skills, able to evaluate farm-level economics and structure deals effectively. Experience managing complex sales cycles and high-value contracts is key, along with the consistent use of a CRM system.

Client Relationship Management - Demonstrated success in maintaining and improving relationships with plantation owners and staff, estate managers, agronomists and procurement teams, cooperatives or government agencies.

Technical Selling Competencies - The ability to effectively communicate scientific and technical benefits and outcomes. For example, being effective at delivering and communicating the value proposition of our seed portfolio, characteristics and ROI. In addition, experience collaborating with R&D or agronomy teams to deliver solutions is highly advantageous.

In addition, the following transferable skills would be advantageous:

Communication Skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including adapting technical information for diverse audiences.

Languages - Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia (both spoken and written) and Mandarin is an advantage.
