Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Security Manager to join our pre opening and opening team. Responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all security and safety operations in the hotel. This includes ensuring the safety of guests, employees, and assets, maintaining emergency preparedness, managing the security team, and ensuring compliance with hotel standards and local regulation
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily security operations including patrolling, CCTV monitoring, access control, and incident management.
Ensure hotel premises, guests, staff, and assets are secured at all times.
Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
Develop and implement emergency response procedures (fire, medical, evacuation, bomb threat, etc.).
Coordinate fire drills, safety training, and first aid response with relevant departments.
Act as the primary contact during emergencies or incidents involving law enforcement or emergency services.
Lead and schedule the security team (supervisors, officers, night guards).
Recruit, train, and evaluate performance of security personnel.
Ensure team is properly briefed, uniformed, and equipped.
Investigate incidents involving guests or employees (e.g., theft, disputes, accidents).
Monitor key areas such as entrances, back-of-house, guest corridors, loading bays, and parking.
Ensure protection of VIP guests and handling of high-risk situations.
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, local laws, and fire safety regulations.
Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, access records, and investigation files.
Liaise with legal, HR, and government authorities when needed.
Monitor and prevent potential loss from theft, damage, or negligence.
Review CCTV footage and access control data in case of investigations.
Collaborate with other departments to minimize shrinkage or misuse of resources.
Qualifications Required:
Pre Opening and opening experience is highly regarded.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field preferred.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hotel security or similar field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of safety protocols, surveillance systems, emergency planning, and local regulations. Leadership, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
Certification in fire safety, first aid, or security systems is a plus.
Background in law enforcement, military, or certified security agency preferred.
Good written and verbal communication in English
