Job summary

JAPFA is seeking a vigilant Security Guard to protect facilities and staff across Indonesia. The role requires patrolling premises, monitoring access, responding to alarms, and reporting incidents promptly in line with company SOPs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and security training, can work shifts including weekends, and maintain a professional demeanor. You will coordinate with authorities during emergencies and ensure safety equipment and post conditions are well maintained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma or higher is an advantage).
• Certification in security training (e.g., Gada Pratama or equivalent) is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in security or a related field (fresh graduates may be considered).
• Good physical condition and ability to stand, walk, and patrol for long periods.
• Willing to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Basic knowledge of fire safety, first aid, and emergency response.
• Clean criminal record (SKCK) and a good attitude.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the premises regularly to detect and prevent theft, vandalism, fire hazards, and other security risks.
• Control and monitor access points by checking identification, logging visitors, vehicles, and goods, and issuing visitor passes.
• Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and other security equipment, and report any malfunctions.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and security incidents, and take appropriate action following company procedures.
• Assist during emergencies such as fires, evacuations, and medical incidents, and coordinate with relevant authorities.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift handover logs.
• Enforce company rules, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Provide courteous assistance and clear information to employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Conduct inspections of vehicles, bags, and goods in and out of the premises when required.
• Maintain the cleanliness and function of the security post and equipment.
