A leading logistics company in Indonesia is seeking a Sea Logistics Field Sales Representative to identify new business opportunities and develop sales strategies in the sea logistics sector. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Logistics, coupled with 3–5 years of sales experience in freight forwarding. You will work closely with clients to tailor logistics solutions and collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the sea logistics sector. Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs and provide tailored logistics solutions.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth. Use this information to inform sales strategies.
Prepare and present proposals to clients. Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure new business.
Work closely with internal teams, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline status. Provide regular reports to management on sales performance and market conditions.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of proven sales experience in freight forwarding, specifically Air Freight and/or Sea Freight (mandatory).
Strong sales and negotiation skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Willingness to travel within Indonesia as required.
