Job summary

You will monitor engagement, respond to comments, analyze metrics, and report findings to guide strategy, working closely with teachers and administrators to ensure content

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO), including managing content calendars and campaigns.
• Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and culturally appropriate content in relevant languages.
• Experience in Content Strategy, including planning themes, aligning content with organizational objectives, and maintaining a consistent brand voice.
• Familiarity with basic design or media tools (e.g., Canva, image editing, simple video editing) is beneficial.
• Ability to interpret social media analytics, adjust strategies based on data, and report on performance.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Interest or experience in the education sector and alignment with the institution’s values is an advantage.
• Relevant diploma or degree in communications, marketing, media, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute social media campaigns promoting school activities and community initiatives across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
• Create and schedule posts, write captions, and develop visual content in collaboration with staff.
• Monitor engagement and respond to comments and messages in a timely and respectful manner.
• Analyze performance metrics and prepare periodic reports to guide future strategy.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other team members to ensure content reflects the institution’s values and supports educational goals.
