Qualifications

Job description

Provide first aid and basic nursing care to students, teachers, and school staff as needed.

Monitor students' health conditions and provide appropriate nursing support within the school environment.

Handle minor illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies in accordance with school health and safety procedures.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, health reports, and documentation of students and staff.

Monitor and manage the school clinic, including medicines, medical supplies, equipment, and inventory.

Support health screening, routine health checks, and school health programs.

Provide basic guidance related to nutrition, healthy eating habits, hygiene, and general health.

Coordinate with parents/guardians regarding students' health conditions and necessary follow-up.

Assist in handling health-related needs of adult staff members when required.

Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, doctors, or other healthcare providers when further medical attention is needed.

Prepare administrative reports related to school health services and clinic activities.

Ensure the school clinic operates in a clean, safe, organized, and hygienic manner.

Support the implementation of school health, safety, and emergency procedures.

Perform other health-related and administrative duties as assigned by the school management.

Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Nursing and professional nursing qualification (Profesi Ners).

Valid nursing registration and professional license (STR/SIP) in accordance with applicable regulations.

Minimum 1-2 years of relevant nursing experience; experience in a school, clinic, hospital, or similar setting is preferred.

Have knowledge and/or experience related to nutrition and healthy dietary practices.

Experience in providing care or handling health needs of adults is preferred.

Strong administrative and documentation skills, including medical records and reporting.

Good knowledge of first aid, basic emergency response, and general health care.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students, parents, teachers, and staff.

Caring, responsible, patient, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality.

Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with the school team.
