Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a creative Savour Flavourist to develop regional South East Asian savoury flavours for snacks, sauces and ready meals.

The role requires strong knowledge of Thai, Vietnamese, Malaysian and Indonesian flavor profiles, hands-on GC/MS/HPLC, sensory testing, and collaboration with applications, procurement and QC to scale up projects.

Candidates with a food science background and SEA ingredients experience will thrive in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master in Food Science or Chemistry; flavourist cert a plus.
• 5 years in savoury flavour creation with SEA profiles.
• Proficiency in GC/MS, HPLC, sensory analysis.
• Deep knowledge of SEA ingredients and regional cooking.

Responsibilities

• Develop savoury flavour systems inspired by SE Asian cuisine.
• Work with ingredients like lemongrass, galangal, fish sauce, shrimp paste.
• Conduct bench-top trials and sensory evaluations.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales to align flavours.
