About the role

We are recruiting a Satpam (Security Guard) to join our team at our Gamping, Yogyakarta location. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to work in a professional security environment. As a Satpam, you will play a vital role in maintaining the security and safety of our premises, protecting assets, and ensuring the wellbeing of all individuals within our facilities. This position is essential to our operations and requires a responsible, alert individual with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to professionalism.

What you’ll be doing

• Monitor and patrol the premises to ensure security and detect any suspicious activities or unauthorised access
• Control and manage entry and exit points, verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs
• Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and disturbances in a professional and calm manner
• Conduct regular inspections of the facility, including perimeter checks and building inspections
• Report security concerns and maintain detailed records of daily activities and incidents
• Assist in enforcing company policies and security protocols to ensure compliance
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance and demeanour at all times
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when requiredMaintain awareness of health and safety regulations and assist in emergency procedures

What we’re looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification
• Valid security guard certification or licence as required by local regulations
• Proven experience working in a security or related field (minimum 1-2 years preferred)
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand or patrol for extended periods
• Alertness, integrity, and sound judgment in handling security matters
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
• Knowledge of emergency procedures and basic first aid is advantageous
• Reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
