Job summary

Accenture PLC is seeking experienced SAP Joint Venture Accounting professionals to join our Finance Transformation practice. This role focuses on SAP JVA, hydrocarbon accounting, and partner settlements within asset-intensive industries.

You will collaborate with Finance, Joint Venture, Commercial, and Technology teams to design, implement, and optimize SAP JVA solutions that enable accurate partner accounting and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline.
• 3–10+ years of SAP Finance/JVA experience or related ERP transformation work.
• Hands-on SAP JVA configuration, testing, deployment, or support experience.
• Strong understanding of JVA processes including partner settlements and equity structures.
• Experience with SAP FI/CO integrations and end-to-end SAP solutions.

About the Role

Accenture is seeking experienced SAP Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) professionals to join our SAP Finance Transformation practice. This role is suitable for SAP professionals with expertise in Joint Venture Accounting, hydrocarbon accounting, partner settlement, revenue and cost sharing, finance transformation, and SAP S/4HANA implementations.

You will work with Finance, Joint Venture, Commercial, Operations, and Technology stakeholders to design, implement, and optimize SAP JVA solutions that support accurate partner accounting, regulatory compliance, operational transparency, and efficient financial management. This role is particularly relevant for professionals with experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Mining, Chemicals, and other asset-intensive industries operating under joint venture business models.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support SAP Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) implementation, rollout, enhancement, migration, and support projects.
• Gather and analyze business requirements related to joint venture operations, cost allocation, partner billing, revenue sharing, and financial reporting.
• Configure and support SAP JVA processes including venture master data, equity groups, partner management, cost recovery, billing, settlements, and reporting.
• Design and implement end-to-end business processes integrating SAP JVA with:
  • SAP Financial Accounting (FI)
  • SAP Controlling (CO)
  • SAP Materials Management (MM)
  • SAP Project Systems (PS)
  • SAP Asset Accounting (AA)
  • SAP Sales & Distribution (SD)
• Support joint interest billing (JIB), cash call management, partner reporting, carried interest arrangements, and venture cost allocation processes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Commercial, Land Management, Production Accounting, and Operations teams to ensure business requirements are effectively translated into SAP solutions.
• Lead requirements workshops, fit-gap assessments, solution design sessions, testing cycles, and deployment activities.
• Support data migration, reconciliation, cutover, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Develop functional specifications, business process documentation, test scripts, training materials, and operational support documentation.
• Provide recommendations on finance transformation, process automation, reporting optimization, and SAP best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 3-10+ years of experience in SAP Finance, SAP Joint Venture Accounting, ERP transformation, or financial systems implementation projects.
• Hands-on experience with SAP JVA configuration, testing, deployment, or support activities.
• Strong understanding of Joint Venture Accounting business processes, including partner settlements, venture accounting, cost allocations, and equity ownership structures.
• Experience with SAP FI/CO and related finance integration processes.
• Knowledge of financial accounting, management reporting, month-end close processes, and financial controls.
• Experience conducting requirements gathering, process design, testing, deployment, and stakeholder management activities.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Chemicals, Mining, Utilities, or other industries utilizing joint venture operating models.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA JVA implementations or finance transformation programs.
• Knowledge of upstream accounting, hydrocarbon accounting, production sharing contracts (PSC), partner cost recovery, or energy accounting processes.
• Familiarity with SAP PRA (Production and Revenue Accounting), SAP Group Reporting, SAP Central Finance, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or SAP BW/4HANA.
• Experience supporting data migration, cutover planning, reconciliation, and testing management activities.
• SAP FI, SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP JVA, or related SAP certifications.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and engaging senior business stakeholders.
