About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP AM: Functional HCM Lead to join our SAP Application Management team. The role will focus on ensuring the effective design, configuration, support, and continuous improvement of SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in SAP HCM On-Premise and a solid understanding of SAP SuccessFactors, enabling seamless integration between core HR processes and cloud-based platforms. This role involves both hands‑on functional work and leadership in guiding business users, technical teams, and stakeholders in implementing HR system enhancements and ensuring optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Leadership & Solution Design

  • Lead the functional support, configuration, and maintenance of SAP HCM On-Premise modules, including Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), and related HR processes.
  • Collaborate with business process owners and HR stakeholders to gather requirements, define functional specifications, and deliver system enhancements aligned with business needs.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for HR systems, providing guidance on solution design, system optimization, and integration points with SuccessFactors and other enterprise applications.

SAP SuccessFactors Integration & Support

  • Provide advanced functional expertise in SAP SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Performance & Goals, or Compensation.
  • Support integration between SAP HCM and SuccessFactors to ensure data accuracy, synchronization, and process consistency.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new functionalities within the SAP SuccessFactors landscape.

Application Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Manage incident resolution, change requests, and functional testing within established SLAs.
  • Partner with technical teams for troubleshooting, interface management, and workflow configuration.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, identifying automation and optimization opportunities in HR system processes.

Stakeholder Engagement & Documentation

  • Liaise with HR business partners, IT teams, and vendors to align system capabilities with business strategies.
  • Prepare functional documentation including business process flows, test cases, and user training materials.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and provide end-user support and training when required.
Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Expert proficiency in SAP HCM On-Premise Human Capital Management (Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, etc.)
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central, Performance Management, or other modules).
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience in SAP HCM and/or SuccessFactors implementation or support roles.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Solid understanding of HR processes, configuration principles, and system dependencies within SAP landscapes.

Bonus Points If You Have:

  • Expert proficiency in SAP HCM Payroll — with proven experience in configuration, schema maintenance, and payroll process troubleshooting.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP HCM Time Management — including work schedules, absence quotas, and time evaluation rules.
  • Experience with HR reporting tools (e.g., SAP Query, Ad Hoc Reporting, or SAP Analytics Cloud).
  • Familiarity with integration technologies (SAP CPI, BTP, or middleware platforms).
