Job Role

The Training Manager will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing training programs for the consumer finance sector, with the goal of enhancing employees’ professional knowledge, sales capabilities, and business skills. This role will also lead a training team, collaborate with cross‑functional departments, and ensure that training initiatives are aligned with the company’s strategic goals. The Training Manager will report to senior management and be based in Jakarta, with regular business travel to branches and customer sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Course Development & Design
    • Design, develop, and update high-quality training materials tailored to business needs and industry trends.
    • Create engaging training formats (lectures, case studies, role plays, digital learning tools).
  • Training Delivery & Evaluation
    • Organize and conduct both online and offline training programs.
    • Evaluate training effectiveness, gather feedback, and optimize content and delivery.
    • Ensure training initiatives enhance employees’ sales, service, and professional competencies.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
    • Lead and manage a team of trainers, set team goals, and monitor performance.
    • Mentor and develop junior trainers to improve overall team capability.
    • Work with business leaders and departments to assess training needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Cross-Department Communication & Reporting
    • Maintain close communication with sales and business departments to ensure training aligns with real business challenges.
    • Coordinate internal resources for smooth implementation of training projects.
    • Provide regular reports to management on training progress and outcomes.
Candidate Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Marketing, Management, or related fields.
  • Experience:
    • Having 7 years of experience in Training and Development functions, particularly within the top consumer electronics or finance companies (e.g., OPPO, Vivo, Xiaomi).
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar training role (Training Manager, etc.).
    • Hands‑on experience building training frameworks from the ground up (0‑to‑1 stage).
    • Proven experience leading a training team of 5–10 people.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong experience in business data analysis to evaluate training effectiveness.
  • Language Skills: Fluent Mandarin (must) with strong verbal communication skills, and professional English proficiencies.
  • Professional Skills: Proficiency in training material development tools (PowerPoint, Articulate, etc.).
  • Professional Qualities:
    • Strong communication, coordination, and presentation skills.
    • Logical thinker with problem‑solving abilities, capable of designing targeted training programs.
    • Self‑driven, adaptable, and able to manage work pressures and deadlines.
  • Mobility:
    • Based in Jakarta with frequent travel to branches or client sites.
    • Flexible to work overtime or travel according to project schedules.
