A leading international tobacco company in Jakarta Utara is seeking an experienced professional for Sales and Logistics Planning. This role requires 5-7 years in a multinational FMCG setting, focusing on optimizing sales forecasts and logistics operations. Candidates should be fluent in English, with skills in strategic planning and team leadership. The position emphasizes data-driven decision-making and collaboration across departments to achieve business goals.
Develop accurate short-, mid-, and long-term sales forecasts in coordination with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams.
Analyse market trends, promotional calendars, and historical data to create rolling demand plans.
Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align sales, supply, and production targets.
Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously improve planning methodologies and tools.
Oversee logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and 3PL management, ensuring timely and efficient product delivery.
Optimize logistics costs through route planning, supplier performance management, and continuous process improvement.
Ensure compliance with company standards and sustainability goals in logistics and distribution activities.
Analyse category and market data to identify growth opportunities, performance gaps, and emerging trends.
Provide strategic insights to guide portfolio management, pricing strategies, and promotional planning.
Collaborate with commercial and marketing teams to translate insights into actionable growth initiatives.
Manage inventory levels to maintain product availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
Optimize financial performance through effective demand-supply balancing and cost control.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of key supply chain and financial indicators (e.g., inventory turnover, stockout rate, logistics cost ratio).
Lead and develop the sales planning and logistics team to build analytical and operational excellence.
Drive strong collaboration among Sales, Marketing, Production, and Finance to achieve shared business goals.
Champion data-driven decision-making and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Minimum 5-7 years in planning, purchasing, logistics, preferably with multinational FMCG.
Fluent in English (both speaking and writing).
