The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for leading and optimizing the company’s sales operations to drive efficiency, performance, and profitability. This role oversees the development and execution of sales strategies, processes, and systems that support the commercial team, ensuring effective collaboration between sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance.
The key responsibilities for Sales Operation Manager (Jakarta) will be :
1. Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement effective sales operations strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Support the sales leadership team in forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
- Analyze market trends, customer data, and sales performance to identify growth opportunities.
2. Process Optimization & Execution
- Design, monitor, and continuously improve sales processes, tools, and reporting systems.
- Ensure sales activities are well-coordinated with other departments (marketing, finance, supply chain).
- Drive standardization and efficiency across regional sales operations.
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales operations team.
- Set clear goals, coach team members, and build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Foster strong communication and collaboration across internal teams and with key stakeholders.
4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track KPIs, sales productivity, and operational metrics to ensure sales targets are achieved.
- Prepare and present regular reports to management on performance insights and business trends.
- Implement CRM and data analytics tools to improve visibility and decision‑making.
5. Market & Field Support
- Provide operational support to the sales team during nationwide activities, campaigns, and customer engagements.
- Frequently travel across regions to oversee implementation, assess performance, and strengthen customer relationships.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of working experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within sales operations, commercial excellence, or similar capacity.
- Proven experience managing teams and driving performance improvements.
- Strong background in B2B industries or FMCG sector preferred.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in English (both written and spoken); Mandarin is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel frequently nationwide.
