A leading chemical supplier in Indonesia is looking for a Sales Manager for their Pharmaceutical Division. This role involves managing a sales team, developing strategic plans, and building relationships with key customers. The ideal candidate should have 5-7 years of experience in B2B sales of pharmaceutical raw materials and strong leadership skills. Fluent English and Bahasa Indonesia are required.
We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager (Pharmaceutical Division) to lead and grow our pharmaceutical sales team and strengthen customer relationships across Indonesia.
Lead and manage the pharmaceutical sales team to achieve sales growth and profitability targets.
Develop strategic sales plans and monitor the execution of area and account-based strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key pharmaceutical customers, principals, and partners.
Identify market opportunities, trends, and potential new customers.
Support sales team in technical presentations, negotiations, and customer visits.
Coordinate with internal departments (Regulatory, QA/QC, Supply Chain, Marketing) to ensure customer satisfaction.
Analyze sales performance, prepare forecasts, and report market insights to management.
Represent the company in industry exhibitions, seminars, and principal meetings.
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in B2B sales of pharmaceutical raw materials, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Deep understanding of pharmaceutical formulations and raw materials (API, excipients, coating systems).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (spoken and written).
Proficient in CRM, Excel, and ERP systems.
Willing to travel across assigned areas in Indonesia.
