A leading healthcare technology company is seeking a Sales Manager in Jakarta to manage patient referral channels in Indonesia. This role requires strong relationship-building skills and a background in business development for international patient services. The ideal candidate will have existing contacts with medical agents, hospitals, and insurance networks. Fosun Health is the international healthcare technology group under Fosun Pharma and Fosun International, with a strong presence across China’s Greater Bay Area and Shanghai. Our network includes leading hospitals in oncology, cardiac, neuro, orthopedics, pediatrics, and women’s health.
We are looking for a sales manager who already understands the international patient referral business and can start delivering results quickly. The focus of this role is to develop and manage patient referral channels in Indonesia and bring patients to our partner hospitals in China. The ideal candidate has existing relationships with medical agents, hospitals, doctors, or insurance/TPA networks and can use these connections to build a stable and growing patient pipeline.
Generate patient referrals from Indonesia to Fosun Health partner hospitals in China, especially in oncology, cardiology, neurology, orthopedics, pediatrics, and women’s health.
Identify, develop, and manage referral channels, including medical agents, insurance brokers, private hospitals, specialist doctors, corporate clients, and digital health platforms.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and decision makers (owners, medical directors, BD/marketing heads, insurance/TPA provider network teams, etc.).
Act as the main contact point for assigned channels and key accounts, including regular visits, follow-up, and performance discussions.
Develop simple and practical referral programs and incentives to make it easy for partners to send patients.
Work with internal teams in Indonesia and China to ensure a smooth patient journey from first contact to hospital admission and follow-up.
Provide regular market feedback, competitor insights, and channel performance reports to support strategy and decision-making.
Support basic marketing and professional activities such as health talks, CME sessions, or partner trainings when needed.
Experience: We are looking for someone who has done similar work before. Experience in one or more of the following areas is strongly preferred:
Business development or international patient services for overseas hospitals (for example: Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Korea, China).
Medical travel / medical agent / facilitator sending Indonesian patients abroad.
Provider network, case management, or business development in insurance or TPA.
Business development for digital health or telemedicine platforms working with clinics, hospitals, or doctors.
Hospital BD or marketing (especially for private hospitals or international patient departments).
Network and Channels: Existing and usable connections with some of the following: medical agents, referral facilitators, specialist doctors, private hospital BD teams, insurance/TPA, corporate health programs, or clinic networks.
Practical understanding of how Indonesian patients decide to seek treatment overseas and which parties influence that decision.
Skills and Qualities: Strong relationship-building and account management skills.
Comfortable working with clear targets and KPIs.
Able to work independently, plan weekly activities, and manage time and territory without close supervision.
Clear and professional communication in Bahasa Indonesia and workable English for internal and hospital communication.
Willing to travel within Jakarta and to other cities in Indonesia for partner visits and events.
