You will oversee and grow direct customer relationships, focusing on B2B sales in the food and beverage equipment sector. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience with direct sales in B2B equipment and/or processing industry preferably in Food & Beverage.
  • Strong knowledge of process engineering and experience in equipment integration will be an advantage.

Our client, an international company specializing in packaging equipment for the food and beverage industries, is looking to hire a dynamic Sales Manager Indonesia to oversee and grow their direct customer relationships. This is an individual contributor role based in Jakarta with direct reporting line to the Senior Sales Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Develop short-term and long-term business strategies and market expansion plans within Indonesia
  • Responsible for sales forecasting and budgeting for manufacturing equipment products within the assigned territory
  • Maintain a good, long-term relationship with key customers, including multinational firms and local businesses
  • Collaborate with the regional team to lead and drive marketing initiatives within the territory
  • Identify needs, potential products, and service concepts to develop in the country
  • 70% new business development, 30% farming of existing clients
Skills and Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Food, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience with direct sales in B2B equipment and/or processing industry preferably in Food & Beverage
  • Strong knowledge of process engineering and experience in equipment integration will be an advantage
  • Commercially driven with a strong determination to win every deal
  • Pro-active, dynamic, with sharp business acumen and capabilities of new business development.
