A leading recruitment agency is looking for a Sales Manager specializing in knitted fabrics to manage sales activities in Indonesia. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in sales and marketing, targeting the domestic market for 100% Combed Cotton Yarns. Responsibilities include formulating sales targets, developing customer relationships, and conducting market research to improve product offerings. Proven negotiation skills and a strong academic background in sales/marketing are essential. This is an on-site position based in Jakarta Utara.
Identify new business opportunities by tapping the potential customers from the assigned regions as well new regions
Maintain relationship with company distributors (if any) for all assign territories and perform regular visits to all sites
Plan, design, develop and implement different sales activities by researching the customer's needs and requirements
Ensure that periodic sales/revenue targets are achievedPrepare territory budgets and recommend appropriate distributors for all assign regionAnalyse all customer requirements to prepare appropriate sales strategies for sameEnsure that the existing clients are retained and maintained while developing the new customersEnsure that all the sales and marketing activities are carried out within the agreed budgets, volume, sales, and within the given timelinesOversee the development of constructive and effective solutions to any issues that slow down or hamper the procedures and activitiesReview distributor's performance and monitor their work, so that relevant information can be provided to the managementAdminister market research and surveys to study the competitors and their marketing and sales strategiesLiaise with Production and Manufacturing team and provide suggestions to improve the product based on the feedback received from the customersPrepare contracts with suppliers and distributors in accordance with state regulationsMentor the sales representatives and create awareness about the products in the target regions by conducting advertising and marketing campaigns
