A leading firm in the Chemical Industry in Jakarta Utara is seeking a seasoned Sales Manager with strong expertise in Plastic Resins and the Automotive supply chain. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience, including managerial experience. Job description

Bachelor's degree from reputable university majoring in Chemical Engineering, Business Management, or Industrial Engineering.

8-10 years of experience in Plastic Resin/Chemical Industry and 3+ years' experience in managerial role.

Strong knowledge of the Automotive Industry supply chain.

Experience in a Japanese Trading Company (Sogo Shosha) is a plus.

Fluent in English (written & spoken), proficiency in Japanese would be preferred.

Having strong leadership and people management capabilities.

Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

Proficient in Financial Analysis (Bugeting/P’L)

Advanced Ms. Office skill (Excel, Power Point).

Ability to work under pressure is a fast-paced environment.

Tasks & Responsibilities
  • Business Strategy & Sales Management: Lead the sales strategy for Plastic Resins and Chemical products to achieve departmental targets (revenue & gross profit).
  • Business Development: Identify and expand new opportunities withing Automotive and Non-automotive sectors.
  • Key Account Management: Foster relationships with principal supplies and key customers (OEMs and Tier-1 manufacturers).
  • Financial Planning: Create the yearly budget, control expenses, and manage P’L for the group.
  • Operational Analysis: Analyze monthly sales results, monitor inventory turnover, and report business review to Top Management.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop the sales team to ensure high performance.
