Job description

The Sales Manager – Compressor is responsible for promoting and selling compressor-related products and sealing solutions to industrial clients. This position requires strong technical knowledge, sales capability, and the ability to provide value-driven solutions to customers in the oil & gas, petrochemical, and manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets.

Identify, approach, and manage potential customers in the compressor and rotating equipment market.

Conduct technical and commercial presentations to introduce product solutions and advantages.

Prepare and submit proposals, quotations, and tender documents in a timely manner.

Collaborate with engineering and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project execution.

Maintain and strengthen long‑term customer relationships through regular visits and communication.

Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.

Provide accurate and timely sales reports and forecasts to management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales of compressors, rotating equipment, or mechanical seals.

Strong technical understanding of compressor systems and associated components.

Proven track record in B2B technical sales within industrial or energy sectors.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English (both written and spoken).

Willing to travel within Indonesia for client meetings and site visits.
