Job summary

A leading agricultural company is seeking a Sales Executive in Makassar, Sulawesi Selatan. You will execute sales targets and develop demand creation activities to support the B2C business strategy. Ideal candidates have a degree in agriculture, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to travel. Experience in sales or agronomy is preferred. The position offers opportunities to work independently and under pressure.

Job description
Job Purpose

To execute the sales/business in his/her area and develop demand creation activities on free market (rice-corn-vegetables) to support B2C business strategy.

Key Main Responsibilities
  1. Business
    • Sales Executive execute the sales/business target on his/her area coverage
  2. Develop the Launching Steps
    • Sales Executive in cooperation with Business Manager to prepare and execute the launching process for 2C business.
  3. Do by him/herself and supervise all demand creation
    • Sales Executive does his/her demand creation in his/her specific territory and supervise all the demand creations done by Field Assistant for successful business.
  4. Develop channel networks
    • Sales Executive has to develop the channel networks start from retailer-1 and retailer-2
    • Sales Executive has to do Retailers gathering in order to secure business process.
  5. Develop farmers networks
    • Sales Executive has to develop the farmers database and networks in order to secure successful business.
    • Sales Executive has to do some farmers network activities like farmers tour to visit large scale demo.

To contribute to successful product launch and secure the business by achieving sales target in his/her R-1 level.

Work relations

Internal:

  • Regional Sales Manager; National Sales Manager; Business Manager; Product Development Manager; Product Development Executive, Product Development Assistant and Field Assistant

External:

  • All related external stakeholders (Channels, farmers and extension officer)
Job Qualifications
  • Education: University degree in Agriculture or bachelor degree in Agriculture
  • Work Experience: Min 1 – 2 years’ experience as Agronomist or Sales Executive or Territory Manager or 3-4 years experience as Field Assistant.
  • Good organizational background, interpersonal and communication skills, with creative and innovative personality.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to speak in English (minimum passive) and computer literate (MS Word, Excel and Power Point).
  • Ability to work independent and under pressure in order to meet all deadlines.
  • Age : Under 35 years old

Location could be in East Java and Sulawesi
