Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the shipbuilding, ship repair, and offshore markets.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets within assigned territories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key decision‑makers (ship owners, technical managers, coating applicators, etc.).
- Prepare and present sales quotations, proposals, and product recommendations.
- Collaborate with the technical and operations teams to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular client visits, meetings, and product presentations to promote company solutions.
- Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to identify potential growth areas.
- Provide feedback from the field to support marketing and product development initiatives.
- Participate in marine exhibitions, conferences, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
Technical Coordination
- Coordinate with technical service engineers to provide coating specifications and on‑site application support.
- Ensure customers are informed about product benefits, application procedures, and performance characteristics.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in sales (marine coatings is a must).
- Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of marine coating types (anti‑fouling, anti‑corrosive, and protective systems).
- Familiarity with shipyard operations and marine maintenance cycles is an advantage.
- Skills:
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building abilities.
- Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office and any project tracking tools.
- Other Requirements:
- Willing to travel frequently to client sites and shipyards is a must.
