An event management company in Jakarta is seeking a sales professional to generate MICE leads and manage key accounts. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience in sales, particularly in MICE or hospitality. Responsibilities include building client relationships, conducting needs assessments, and delivering persuasive proposals. A high drive for targets and strong communication skills are essential.
Active Prospecting: Proactively generate new MICE leads and business opportunities through cold calling, direct sales visits, networking events, and industry trade shows.
Account Management: Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term professional relationships with key MICE accounts, including corporate clients, Professional Conference Organisers (PCOs), Destination Management Companies (DMCs), and associations.
Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough in-person meetings with potential clients to understand their specific event requirements, budget, and expectations.
Site Inspections: Arrange and expertly conduct site inspections and facility tours for prospective MICE clients.
Up-selling: Maximize revenue opportunities by actively promoting and up-selling additional services, packages, or facilities complementary to the main booking.
Proposal Delivery: Prepare, customize, and deliver persuasive sales proposals and presentations that clearly articulate the value proposition to the client.
Negotiation & Closing: Lead contract negotiations, finalize agreements, and efficiently close MICE deals to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date records of all sales activities, client interactions, and sales pipeline status within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
Reporting: Prepare and submit regular sales activity reports, performance analysis, and accurate sales forecasts to the management team.

Product Knowledge: Maintain expert-level knowledge of the property/venue's facilities, capacities, unique selling points (USPs), services, and pricing policies.
