Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to drive the promotion and sales of advanced solar PV solutions in Jakarta Utara. The role involves developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers, identifying opportunities, estimating and selling system modifications, and maximizing service plan sales.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Develop account profiles and execute the sales plan.
  • Apply market and account skills necessary for dealing with specific target audiences.
  • Identify and contact potential customers or prospects, either existing or new.
  • Secure customer satisfaction while overseeing all ongoing activities with the customer (orders, delivery).
  • Utilize BFO for sales funnel management and account planning.
  • Provide monthly forecasts and summaries in a timely manner.
  • Prepare sales quotations and proposals with the help of the quotation team.
  • Work closely with Inside Service Sales Representatives and the BU account manager to maximize business opportunities.
  • Feed Field Services Marketing leaders with offers feedback and needs.
  • Educate customers on all SE products and services, with special attention on recurring and digital offers.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching, and guidance to other sales employees.
  • Coordinate and/or attend trade shows and marketing/sales seminars as needed.
Qualifications
  • 4‑year college degree or equivalent work experience; technical sales experience preferred.
  • Inside sales or CCC experience is a plus.
  • Ability to build a sustainable and reliable relationship with the customer (customer intimacy).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including C‑level customer interactions.
  • Thorough knowledge of Schneider Electric services offers throughout the Asset Management Life Cycle.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and ERP/CRM related tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
