A leading engineering and industrial automation company is seeking a Sales Manager / Engineer (Mining) to drive business growth in Indonesia’s mining sector. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, managing key partnerships, and achieving business targets for industrial and power system solutions. The position requires a technically adept and commercially driven professional with a proven record in industrial sales, particularly within mining or heavy engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all sales functions related to the assigned product line and business area.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the mining and industrial segments.
  • Meet KPIs and achieve sales goals through strategic planning and execution.
  • Develop and manage strong relationships with system integrators, business partners, and customers.
  • Implement performance reviews and ensure team development through ongoing training.
  • Ensure full compliance with QHSE policies, ISO standards, and corporate codes of conduct.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and key customer meetings.
  • Develop innovative business strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
  • Oversee the partner network, including selection, evaluation, and performance management.
  • Manage annual OPEX budgets and optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for cross-functional alignment and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and submit periodic sales reports and support internal audits when required.
Must-Have Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of B2B industrial sales experience, including 4 years in account management within mining or heavy engineering sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in managing and expanding customer relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP.
