Job summary

A leading precision instruments manufacturer in Jakarta Utara is seeking a Field Sales Representative to develop and maintain target accounts. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields and at least 2 years of sales experience in LAB Analytical Instruments. Responsibilities include nurturing customer relationships, conducting sales calls, and providing technical training. Knowledge of laboratory instruments and excellent data interpretation skills are essential. Willingness to travel within Indonesia is required.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow target accounts while maintaining a strong sales pipeline
  • Identify, qualify, and nurture both new and existing customers; keep CRM data up to date
  • Plan and conduct sales calls, building and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Support the Sales Manager in marketing campaigns, lead generation, and lead management activities
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to strengthen the company’s market presence
  • Serve as a key technical advisor and product advocate throughout the sales cycle
  • Collaborate with technical support teams during technology evaluation stages
  • Clearly communicate product value, applications, and regulatory compliance
  • Engage with customer engineering teams to present tailored solutions
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, seminars, and industry events
  • Provide technical training and product knowledge to customer teams
  • Lead commercial negotiations to secure mutually beneficial agreements
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Physical/Chemical Engineering, Physical Chemistry, Science, or related field
  • Sales experience in LAB Analytical Instruments (polymers, plastics, tires, academia, research institutions)
  • Minimum 2 years working experience in a Field Sales Rep LAB Analytical Instruments by Project Base with long sales cycle
  • Knowledge of laboratory instruments and material characterization
  • Ability to interpret data and perform analysis
  • Understanding of sales, distribution, and project management
  • Willing to travel within Indonesia
  • Able to speak in English
  • Valid driving license (SIM A)
