This Assistant Sales Manager position will assist and support the Sales Manager to oversee and achieve the objective goals in the assigned area.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
  • Achieve budget in the assigned area.
  • Act as technical consultant to new and assigned customers.
  • Expand the project pipeline.
  • Maintain MOM, visit reports, and customer updates in the CRM.
  • Manage key accounts for assigned customers.
  • Guide and supervise the junior team.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Support and assist the Sales Manager.
  • Help set sales targets and ensure the team achieves them.
  • Represent SCHÜTZ in the market professionally and ethically.
  • Gain respect in the marketplace as the supplier of choice for quality packaging solutions.
  • Acquire knowledge and understanding of developments in the industrial packaging market in the designated region, including competitor activities, to achieve sustainable sales growth.
  • Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with customers, identifying market trends, needs, and opportunities and translating them into business success.
Essential Criteria
  • 5-10 years of experience in Sales (technical product; premium product is an advantage) and B2B sales experience preferably from the chemical industry.
  • Computer literate with good skills in Microsoft Office; CRM knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Strong work ethic, self‑motivation, and results‑oriented mindset; emphasis on speed as a critical performance aspect, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional and presentable appearance, positive and likable personality, and proven ability to build rapport.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English communication.
