Genius Group is looking for a Bali-based Sales & Marketing Lead (Events) to grow attendance and revenue for Genius Academy(adult professional learning, incl. Educator Summit) and Genius School (youth & family programs: Genius Family Camp and Genius Micro Camps). You’ll own the full funnel—targeting the right audiences (educators, school leaders, parents, teens), generating qualified enquiries, and converting to paid seats—while reporting on KPIs and continually optimizing the enquiry-to-sale pathway.

We are reimagining education by building a connected, AI powered, and community-driven learning experience across web and mobile, through short-form, bite-sized videos “bits” and quizzes “sparks”.
Responsibilities
1) Demand Generation & Campaigns
- Build multi-channel campaigns (Meta/IG, Google, email, WhatsApp, affiliates, PR, influencers, school networks, educator communities, Bali hospitality/venue partners).
- Craft segment-specific journeys:
- Educators/Leaders (Genius Academy — Educator Summit, PD offers)
- Parents/Families (Genius Family Camp)
- Teens (Genius Micro Camps)
- Launch/test lead magnets, webinars/open evenings, campus tours, and content sequences to drive opt-ins.
2) Funnel & Sales Enablement
- Design the enquiry pathway lead → discovery call/DM → nurture → offer → checkout (bilingual EN/ID as needed).
- Implement lead scoring, marketing automation, and sales cadences (email/SMS/WA) to lift speed-to-lead and conversion.
- Create segment-specific sales scripts, objection handling, FAQs, and offer stacks.
- Coordinate with Admissions for smooth payment, invoicing, and onboarding (adult and youth cohorts).
3) Partnerships & Community
- Build educator and school partnerships, parent communities, youth orgs, coworking hubs, embassies/consulates edu‑desks, and Bali venues/hotels.
- Develop affiliate/referral programs and host pop-ups/PD tasters to prime demand.
4) Content & Creative Briefing
- Brief/produce ads, reels, carousels, landing pages, and email sequences for both brands with on‑voice messaging.
- Localize for Bali audiences (expat + Indonesian); maintain consistent brand standards.
5) Data, Reporting & Continuous Improvement
- Own KPI dashboard; report weekly/monthly by brand, event, and segment.
- Run A/B tests on hooks, creatives, offers, pricing; rebalance budget to winners.
- Maintain data compliance and list hygiene.
Marketing
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to promote our event offerings, increase brand awareness, and generate leads.
- Manage and optimize our online presence for events, including website content, social media channels, and online advertising.
- Create compelling marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and digital content.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to represent our brand and build connections.
- Analyze marketing campaign effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed to maximize ROI.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and a seamless client experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience 5 years in sales and marketing, specifically within the events industry.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the Bali events market and a network of relevant contacts is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and strategies.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a significant advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
