Ninefoot Studio is a Bali-born independent surf swimwear and activewear brand rooted in functional design, movement, sustainability, and quality craftsmanship. We design and manufacture everything in our own Bali workshop using premium materials, creating small‑batch collections made for active, creative, and ocean‑loving communities.
We are expanding and looking for the right person to help us grow our retail presence across Indonesia and internationally.
We are looking for a proactive, organized, and energetic Sales & Business Development Specialist to help expand Ninefoot’s presence in retail shops, surf stores, boutique hotels, gyms, studios, and lifestyle concept stores.
This role requires a natural salesperson — someone confident approaching new businesses, great at building relationships, and able to communicate Ninefoot’s value clearly and professionally. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, opening new wholesale and consignment accounts, nurturing relationships, and helping us increase our footprint within Bali and beyond.
Identify and research potential retail partners aligned with Ninefoot’s brand values.
Pitch Ninefoot to new stores and secure new wholesale or consignment accounts.
Schedule and attend meetings with potential stockists.
Prepare line sheets, price lists, and product information for clients.
Present collections and close orders confidently.
Maintain and nurture long‑term relationships with existing partners.
Ensure smooth communication and follow‑ups regarding orders, stock levels, and reorders.
Monitor store performance and suggest adjustments or opportunities for growth.
Map and analyze potential markets in Bali, Jakarta, Lombok, and overseas.
Explore new verticals: surf schools, villas/resorts, gyms, concept stores, and lifestyle retailers.
Identify trade shows, pop‑ups, or partnerships that can support sales growth.
Coordinate with the production and logistics teams regarding lead times, stock availability, and delivery schedules.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contacts, meetings, and pipeline.
Update sales tracking sheets and CRM tools.
Weekly sales reports on leads, progress, and new accounts opened.
Monthly performance analysis and suggestions for improvement.
Experience in sales, retail, business development, or account management (fashion, lifestyle, or sports industry preferred).
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Confident, outgoing personality with a natural sales mindset.
Highly organized and structured — excellent at follow‑ups.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Basic knowledge of Google Sheets, Google Drive, and online communication tools.
Strong understanding of Bali market, surf culture, and lifestyle retail (huge plus).
Previous experience in wholesale or consignment sales.
Familiarity with Shopify or similar e‑commerce platforms.
Graphic skills (Canva) to prepare simple sales decks.
Fluency in English (required), Bahasa Indonesia (bonus).
Commission structure for each new account opened + performance bonuses.
