Job Overview

Job Profile Summary

Maintains and enhances relationships with assigned supplier account(s) for a smaller market or a portion of a large market or region.

Responsibilities
  • Interact with high level supplier contacts to discuss their business needs and develops the appropriate solutions
  • Utilizes existing and potentially new sales, prescription, retailers and patient data within assigned accounts or territory to achieve assigned supplier contract goal
  • Delivers business solutions through IQVIA products and services to offset traditional panel cost
  • Anticipates client needs and, in collaboration with supplier management business development staff, develops and present proposed solutions to client complex business issues
  • Identified and leads the pursuit of the targeted new business and contract expansion opportunities with assigned suppliers
  • Typically interfaces with the executive level in existing and prospective smaller suppliers to engage decision makers
  • Leads negotiations in renewing multiyear contract within assigned supplier accounts
  • Represents the company to the client and the client to the company
  • Monitors client satisfaction with contracted deliverables and works with directors within the functions to achieve and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Effectively manages renewals and information allowances
  • As required, may participate in contract renewal effort on large multi year contracts
  • May act as advisor on marketing, market research, sales management, industry issues, trends and IQVIA product and consulting capabilities
  • May manage a team of supplier management representatives
Experience
