Job description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Retail Sales Manager located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Retail Sales Manager will be responsible for business planning, account management, sales, team management, and budgeting. This role involves overseeing the sales operations, setting targets, managing key accounts, leading the sales team, and ensuring budget adherence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a nationwide sales strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities, key markets, and customer segments for HPL products.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealer/pareto, toko, design & build, interior designers, contractors and corporate clients.
  • Drive channel expansion by appointing new distributors, dealers, and retail partners.
  • Develop strategic partnerships to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
  • Train and manage a high-performing sales team.
  • Set sales targets, KPIs, and incentive programs to drive performance.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and support to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Address customer concerns, provide technical assistance, and resolve disputes effectively.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports to senior management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales processes.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with distributors, dealer/pareto, toko, contractors, interior designers.
  • Familiarity with dealer/distributor networks in the building materials industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of HPL product specifications, applications, and installation methods.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
