Troppo

Troppo operates two brands, Troppo Coffee and Troppo Pizza. We're focused on creating comfortable casual dining spaces where we offer food and beverages that use the highest quality ingredients available. Our goal is to please guests with simple dishes done properly.

Troppo Coffee

Troppo Coffee is a small specialty coffee bar in Permata Hijau with 10 seats. We offer a selection of coffee from Indonesia, Brazil and Colombia, including our signature blend \"Tongkrongan Cobra\", which features strawberry-fermented beans from Colombia mixed with single-origin Krucil Cobra from East Java.

Troppo Pizza

Troppo Pizza, also in Permata Hijau, will open in early 2026 and offering neo-New York style pizza, side plates of salads, cold cuts, as well as craft beer on tap. The main dining room will seat up to 20 guests. A second-floor private dining room, set to open mid-2026, will accommodate another 16 guests.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team at CV Permata Bintang Gayo' in South Jakarta, Jakarta. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant and ensuring exceptional customer service and financial performance. This is a full-time position.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage all restaurant operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and cost control


• Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer inquiries or complaints effectively


• Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability


• Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of restaurant staff


• Monitor and analyze restaurant performance metrics to identify areas for improvement


• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations


• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional activities


• Manage the restaurant’s budget and financial reporting

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role in a similar products & services


• Proven track record of successfully managing restaurant operations, including staff, inventory, and financial performance


• Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team


• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively


• Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and reporting


• Thorough understanding of food safety, health, and hygiene regulations


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
