Job Description

  • To fully understand and strictly adhere to all of the policies and procedures outlined in the Departmental Operations Manual.
  • To respond to the results of guest satisfaction surveys and ensure the relevant changes are implemented.
  • To be fully aware of all activity within the Hotel on a day to day basis.
  • To assist the Manager in efficiently managing the Restaurant according to the established concept statement providing a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following Park Hyatt Jakarta's Standards of Performance.
  • To have a full working knowledge and capability to supervise, correct and demonstrate all duties and tasks.
  • To assist in controlling the requisitioning, storage and careful use of all operating equipment and supplies.

  • To ensure all associates provide excellent service to internal customers in other departments as appropriate.
  • To handle all guest and internal customer complaints and enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
  • Implement food safety programs and procedures.

Qualifications

bAbout the Role

As an Area Manager for Food Services (FS) and HoReCa in the Jakarta region, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, expanding market share, and building strong customer relationships across the Food Services (Industrial & Operator) and HoReCa sectors. A key part of your role will be managing distributor partners in the area—ensuring alignment on sales targets, trade execution, and market coverage to maximize growth and service levels.

  • Conduct cost-benefit and needs analysis to tailor solutions for customer requirements

  • Proven experience as a sales representative or area manager in the FMCG industry, with a focus on Food Services and HoReCa
  • Experience in managing distributors, including sales planning, performance tracking, and trade execution
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with BRM and CRM systems
  • Ability to manage key accounts and build productive business relationships
  • Highly motivated and target-driven, with a strong sales track record
