Job Description
- To fully understand and strictly adhere to all of the policies and procedures outlined in the Departmental Operations Manual.
- To respond to the results of guest satisfaction surveys and ensure the relevant changes are implemented.
- To be fully aware of all activity within the Hotel on a day to day basis.
- To assist the Manager in efficiently managing the Restaurant according to the established concept statement providing a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following Park Hyatt Jakarta's Standards of Performance.
- To have a full working knowledge and capability to supervise, correct and demonstrate all duties and tasks.
- To assist in controlling the requisitioning, storage and careful use of all operating equipment and supplies.
- To liaise with the Kitchen and Food & Beverage associates on daily operation and quality.
- To ensure that the outlet cashiering procedures are strictly adhered to.
- To ensure that the outlet is kept clean and organized, both at the front as well as the back of house.
- To liaise and organize with Housekeeping Department that the established cleaning schedules are strictly adhered to.
- To co-ordinate all Repair and Maintenance and issue repair and maintenance job orders to ensure the proper maintenance of the outlet.
- To ensure all associates deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional guest service at all times.
- To keep a positive and professional relationship between Restaurant Service and Restaurant Kitchen associates.
- To ensure all associates provide excellent service to internal customers in other departments as appropriate.
- To handle all guest and internal customer complaints and enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
- Implement food safety programs and procedures.
- Always practice safety in handling food.
- Performing personal and environmental hygiene in food and beverage business.
- Conducting Food Safety Training.
- Performing Personal and Environmental Hygiene in the Management of Food Business Services.
Qualifications
- Indonesian Nationality or expatriate with a degree in Hospitality or Business Management
- Has minimum 2 (Two) years experience in a similar position in 5 (five) stars International Hotel Chain
- Previous experience in Luxury Hotel or international experience are advantages
- Strong in leadership and business acumen
- Excellent English communication skills, strong guest service mindset and people management & development skills

bAbout the Role
As an Area Manager for Food Services (FS) and HoReCa in the Jakarta region, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, expanding market share, and building strong customer relationships across the Food Services (Industrial & Operator) and HoReCa sectors. A key part of your role will be managing distributor partners in the area—ensuring alignment on sales targets, trade execution, and market coverage to maximize growth and service levels.

- Present, promote, and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers in the Food Services and HoReCa sectors
- Conduct cost-benefit and needs analysis to tailor solutions for customer requirements
- Establish, develop, and maintain strong business relationships with key accounts
- Drive customer acquisition through cold calling and targeted outreach
- Resolve customer issues and complaints to ensure high satisfaction levels
- Achieve sales targets and deliver results within agreed timelines
- Coordinate sales efforts with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and finance
- Analyze market potential, track sales performance, and report regularly on progress
- Provide insights on customer needs, market trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities
- Stay updated on FMCG best practices relevant to Food Services and HoReCa, including pricing, trade promotions, and channel development

- Proven experience as a sales representative or area manager in the FMCG industry, with a focus on Food Services and HoReCa
- Experience in managing distributors, including sales planning, performance tracking, and trade execution
- Strong knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with BRM and CRM systems
- Ability to manage key accounts and build productive business relationships
- Highly motivated and target-driven, with a strong sales track record
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Openness to feedback and a continuous improvement mindset
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent
