Overview

Research and Development Manager - Building Chemicals. We are seeking a Product Development Manager to oversee developing a new product or enhancing existing ones, ensuring its offerings remain competitive, relevant, and appealing to the target market through creativity and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies and plans for product development, aligning with company goals and market demands.
• Lead the product development from initial concept to market launch or significant product upgrades, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Research and analyze market trends and consumer insights to identify opportunities for product innovation and ensure products meet user needs.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and relevant departments to explore new technologies and innovations and ensure the product development process runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Manage resources and budgets effectively and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
• Establish quality control processes, ensuring product safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in product development as Research & Development or Product Development Assistant Manager/Manager, especially in building chemicals industry.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with creative problem solving.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Knowledge of product development processes and industry trends.
