Qualifications

• Proven experience with Application Security products, ideally including developing or managing Secret Detection.
• Deep understanding of security personas including developers and security engineers.
• Multiple years of product management experience, preferably in enterprise software.
• Track record of managing complex technical products from concept to market.
• Experience with large enterprise B2B customers and their security needs.
• Strong analytical skills to make actionable product decisions.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Creative problem-solving mindset for complex security challenges.
• Familiarity with code to understand Secret Detection findings.
• Knowledge of static analysis or related security techniques.
• Experience building AI-powered features for security.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand their needs.
• Voice of Secret Detection users in the Product team.
• Prioritize high-impact work based on metrics and customer stories.
• Craft requirements for new features.
• Improve existing capabilities in collaboration with other product teams.
• Articulate GitLab’s Secret Detection capabilities.
• Represent GitLab in customer meetings and conferences.
• Collaborate with marketing and field teams to equip them with product knowledge.
