Job summary

Eterna is seeking a React Developer / DevOps Engineer to join one of our client’s engineering teams. The role blends frontend development with deployment and operations, split about 50/50.

You will build React features, own deployments, CI/CD, monitoring, and production reliability as part of an international client project. You'll work remotely across time zones, collaborating with designers and engineers to keep systems healthy, scalable, and performing at a high level.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience building applications with React.js.
• Experience consuming REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of modern frontend development practices.
• Experience working with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar.
• Experience using Docker in development or production environments.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Sentry, Datadog, Grafana, CloudWatch, or similar.
• Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Comfortable performing database migrations and resolving data issues.
• Basic familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• A reliable internet connection and a suitable remote work setup.

• DevOps & Application Operations: Create and maintain runbooks and operational documentation.
