Job summary

Yamaha Corporation is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations remotely. This role focuses on ensuring production targets are met, quality standards maintained, and team performance optimized from a remote setup.

You will serve as the remote liaison between management and shop-floor teams, driving efficiency through data analysis, effective communication, and problem-solving while fostering a safe, productive work culture across geographically dispersed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing or production supervisory experience.
• Proven remote leadership and ability to manage a team remotely.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, workflow optimization, and quality control.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with MES and virtual collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote supervision and guidance to production teams, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Monitor production metrics, analyze performance data, and identify efficiency improvements.
• Implement and enforce company policies, safety procedures, and best practices across shifts.
• Collaborate with planning, logistics, and quality control to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
• Conduct remote performance reviews, provide feedback, and support development of team members.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
