Job Summary

The Elite Job is looking for passionate and tech-savvy individuals to join our educational support team as Remote Online Teaching Assistants for K-12 students. In this role, you will provide real-time virtual assistance to teachers and students, ensuring a smooth, engaging, and supportive online learning experience. Key Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers during live online classes by managing classroom tools, monitoring chat, and handling technical issues.

• Support students with learning materials, clarifying instructions, and answering questions during and after classes.

• Track student participation, engagement, and assignment submissions.

• Help in grading homework and projects based on provided rubrics and guidance.

• Provide individual or small group tutoring support in core subjects such as Math, Science, English, and Social Studies.

• Coordinate with educators and administrative staff to improve learning outcomes.

• Maintain student confidentiality and ensure compliance with virtual classroom guidelines.

• Contribute to creating an inclusive, respectful, and productive virtual learning environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree (or pursuing) in Education, Child Development, or a related field.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Comfortable using video conferencing tools (Zoom, Google Meet) and online learning platforms (Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, etc.).

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools.

• Ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a remote environment.

• A patient, empathetic, and student-centered approach to learning.

Experience

• Previous experience in online tutoring, teaching assistance, or academic support is preferred.

• Experience working with children in an educational or extracurricular setting is a plus.
