ContactLink Solutions LLC is seeking a skilled Mandarin interpreter for a fully remote, full-time contractor role. You will interpret between Mandarin and English, deliver accurate, confidential language support, and adapt to fast-paced calls from a global client base.

The role requires strong listening, memory, and note-taking abilities, experience in interpretation, and the ability to explain cultural concepts when needed. A quiet home setup, reliable internet, and a headset are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Mandarin.
• Minimum 2 year of interpretation experience.
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to render correct concepts and meanings according to established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions.
• Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication, with permission or at the request of the client.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally, acting according to the interpreter’s code of conduct.
• Be familiar with industry-specific vocabulary (especially healthcare and medical terminology).
• Participate in internal professional training.
• Communicate and report to your team leader.
