Job summary

A global education provider is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant for their Cybersecurity program. In this remote role, you will support learners with their progress and comprehension during virtual training. Ideal candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in Information Security, possess a technical degree, and preferably hold a CompTIA Security+ certification. Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in the Information Security field.
• Strong credentials in a related field.
• Preferably previous learner support experience, especially in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Support ~25-30 Learners in virtual training programs.
• Provide both synchronous and asynchronous support to Learners.
• Participate in the mandatory Pre-Program TA Onboarding.
• Monitor Slack channels for Learner questions.
• Check in with Learners after each live session.
• Assist in keeping the session progressing during difficulties.
• Review content materials for upcoming lectures.
• Hold Individual Office Hours via Zoom with Learners.
• Grade submissions of exercises and projects.
