Job summary

Abimantrana Engineering Technology is seeking a meticulous Legal Consultant to manage legal matters, draft and review agreements, and ensure compliance across business activities. This fully remote role offers flexible hours and requires strong English and Indonesian communication skills.

The candidate will handle corporate governance, IP strategies, employment law guidance, and due diligence for partnerships and transactions, coordinating with external counsel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in corporate and commercial law practice.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and service agreements.
• Proven experience advising on mergers, acquisitions, or significant transactions.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian corporate law and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of intellectual property law and technology licensing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Indonesian.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal advice on corporate and commercial matters for engineering and technology projects.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, service agreements, and supplier arrangements.
• Advise on regulatory compliance and legal risk management within engineering and technology sectors.
• Support due diligence processes for business transactions and partnerships.
• Assist with corporate governance and statutory compliance obligations.
• Review intellectual property protection strategies for tech and engineering innovations.
• Provide guidance on employment law and HR-related matters.
• Liaise with external counsel and government agencies as required.
• Maintain legal documentation and ensure proper record-keeping.
