Job summary

Groove is seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer with expertise in site development to join their fully remote team. You will design site plans, grading, drainage and utilities across regions, using AutoCAD Civil 3D, and deliver construction documentation.

The role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently in a virtual environment, collaborating with clients and consultants remotely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for remote collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Design site plans, including grading, drainage, utility layouts, and erosion control.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Perform hydrological and hydraulic analyses for stormwater management systems.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain permits and approvals.
• Collaborate effectively with clients, architects and consultants in a remote setting.
• Review submittals and respond to RFIs during construction.
