Milliman seeks a talented Actuarial Analyst specializing in pricing for a fully remote opportunity in Indonesia. You will develop and refine pricing models for insurance products, analyze data, assess risks, and contribute to profitability in collaboration with underwriting and finance teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Actuarial Science or related field, progress toward SOA/CAS with exams, 2+ years pricing experience, and proficiency in Python, R or VBA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Progress towards actuarial designations with at least 2-3 actuarial exams passed.
• 2+ years of experience in actuarial work, with a focus on pricing or ratemaking.
• Proficiency in actuarial software and programming languages such as Python, R, or VBA.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, particularly in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain pricing models for new and existing insurance products.
• Analyze historical data, market trends, and competitor pricing to inform pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with underwriting, product development, and finance teams to ensure pricing accuracy and alignment.
• Perform sensitivity analysis and scenario testing on pricing models to assess potential impacts.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate pricing recommendations and rationale to management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and actuarial standards.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and forecasting.
• Perform data analysis and conduct statistical modeling to support actuarial studies.
• Contribute to the preparation of regulatory filings and internal reports related to actuarial functions.
• Collaborate with actuaries and senior management on risk assessment and financial planning initiatives.
• Stay abreast of actuarial best practices, industry trends, and relevant regulations.
• Participate in the validation and testing of actuarial models and data integrity checks.
