Overview
This role will be assigned in one of our Business Unit for Distribution.
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new clients and business opportunities within your assigned territory. You will actively seek and follow up on leads, build strong customer relationships, and drive consistent sales growth by leading and motivating your sales team.
Responsibilities
- Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the regional sales team.
- Identify new opportunities to drive sales performance and expand market share.
- Design and implement strategic sales plans to strengthen the company’s market presence.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with dealers, retail partners, and distributors.
- Identify emerging markets and analyze market trends, competitors, and consumer behavior.
- Manage recruitment, performance evaluation, and coaching of sales representatives.
- Motivate and inspire the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Prepare regular sales reports and business analyses to support strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance) for seamless execution of sales operations and trade programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Regional Sales Manager or 5 years as an Area Sales Manager.
- Experience in the mobile phone distribution or FMCG industry is a strong advantage.
- Excellent understanding of sales methods, techniques, and channel management
- Strong business acumen and knowledge of product P&L
- Proven leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Willing to travel across the assigned region.
