Your Impact

The Regional Sales Director, Asia manages a team of account managers that sell Axon’s less lethal weapons and software solutions to public safety agencies, and drives Axon’s overall growth across Asia. Success requires simplifying complex solutions, maintaining executive relationships, navigating multi‑layered stakeholder environments, and driving teams toward outcomes.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Manage a team of Account Managers, grow bookings, pipeline and customer satisfaction, and achieve Axon’s strategic objectives.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships to drive new opportunities and growth.
  • Develop and execute account strategy, collaborating with the account team to deliver stronger, more relevant value propositions.
  • Lead strategic meetings with senior officials to build higher‑level relationships.
  • Partner with Axon’s support teams (Product, Marketing, Government Affairs, Legal, Finance) to guide product‑market‑fit and develop a joint strategy for the region.
  • Engage experts and specialists where required.
  • Create a go‑to‑market strategy based on data, including TAM, capture potential, and product‑market‑fit analysis.
  • Own accurate forecasting and keep leadership updated on account status.
  • Maintain strong Salesforce hygiene: timely updates, clean data, and consistent pipeline discipline.
  • Track customer activity in internal systems to execute strategy and identify additional opportunities.
Basic Qualifications
  • 10+ years of demonstrated successful customer‑facing software or technical sales experience.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated leadership of sales teams.
  • 10+ years’ experience managing a book of major accounts or consultative sales.
  • Fluency in English and other Asian languages a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 50%+ of the month, including overnight travel.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Startup experience and some vertical experience.
  • Able to articulate complex solution offerings clearly and directly.
  • Team player: collaborates regularly with various team members.
  • Driven to own territory and guide the team.
