Job summary

RUMAH SAKIT AN-NISA Tangerang is seeking a Refractionist Optician to perform refraction assessments and support eye care teams. This full-time, on-site role focuses on patient comfort, clear communication, and precise documentation to determine correct prescriptions for lenses and visual aids.

Responsibilities include guiding patients through vision tests, operating optical equipment, and assisting with lens selection while coordinating with clinicians to ensure smooth patient flow and adherence

Qualifications

• Clinical optics and optometry knowledge with practical experience.
• Experience conducting Eye Exams and refraction tests.
• Strong customer service and patient support throughout visits.
• Certification or diploma in optometry, refraction, or related field per local regulations.
• Attention to detail and accurate measurements/documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary medical teams in busy settings.
• Familiarity with healthcare information systems; hospital/clinic experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform refraction assessments and assist with eye examinations.
• Support optometrists/ophthalmologists in determining lens prescriptions.
• Guide patients through vision tests and explain results clearly.
• Operate basic optical equipment and document findings accurately.
• Assist patients in selecting suitable corrective lenses.
