Radio Network Engineer
We are hiring a
Network Engineer specializing in Radio Tuning and Optimization for GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and 5G networks.
Job Description
Perform RF tuning & optimization and other RF related service activities for high capacity wireless networks using GSM, WCDMA, LTE and 5G technologies; familiar with link budgets, RF propagation from cellular antennas, parameters and Radio features of at least one of the following technologies: GSM, WCDMA, LTE and 5G; work independently in performing optimization activities; provide training and guidance to less experience persons in the area of expertise; utilize engineering tools such as cell planning tools, drive test data collection and post processing tools, and network performance statistics monitoring and analysis tools.
Education Background and Experience
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, and Telecommunications Engineering, MIS or related field.
- Having significant relevant experience and five (3) years of progressive experience tuning and optimizing high-capacity wireless GSM, LTE, or UMTS networks using RF engineering technology.
Technical and/or functional skills
- Able for giving basic addressing markets performing analytical, investigative, and/or design activities related to 2G, LTE, VoLTE and 5G Post Launch Optimization.
- Relevant experience in the field of 2G, 3G,LTE, VoLTE and 5G RF Post Launch optimization.
- Have experience on 2G , LTE and 5G ericsson radio parameter, counters and timers and route cause analysis
- Manage network trials and performance data to identify coverage, capacity and interference problems
- Have experience and able to perform network performance monitoring activities, include parameter con-check and hygiene check.
- Multi carrier /Multi access Technology layer management strategy understanding and inter RAT mobility management of service bearers
- Performance reports/Post processing tool
- Identification and analysis of key issues on the network in order to achieve QoS targets for 2G/3G/LTE/5G
- Ensuring first-class support is given to the resolution of customer problems
- Good level of knowledge and understanding of 3G/2G/LTE/5G
- Good level of knowledge on EDGE//HSPA/LTE/5G concepts.
- A good knowledge of hardware and software features and constraints for 2G/3G/LTE/5G
- Ability to analyze air interface signalling to help resolve problems and make recommendations for improving QoS
- Ability to support developing original processes and procedures
- Support to give input on innovative solutions to challenging problems
- Drive recommendations for changes to the physical and parametric configuration of cells
- Basic knowledge in RF planning, counter analysis and understanding
- Working knowledge of MapInfo or other GIS tools
- Data throughput optimization for 2G/3G/LTE/5G.
- Perform KPI analysis, troubleshooting and improvement plan/ recommendation for daily monitoring and improvement on WPC.
- Good knowledge on Neighbor relations and analysis
- Good knowledge in BSS/RNC/MME parameters
- Parameter audit and report preparation
- Analysis of drive test data and recommendation
- Support investigates, analysis and recommendation on specific KPI issue in NMS/ Smart Drive/Drive test for accelerating QAC acceptance
- Good working knowledge in MS Excel and MS Access
- Performance and root cause analysis of the air interface Exposure to tools like TEMS, ACTIX, BO, etc

- Has good Track record as a Network Engineer in the area of Radio Tuning and Optimization technology and/or operations.

Network Engineer (On Site at Customer Location)
We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer to join our team. This role requires direct placement at customer sites to ensure smooth network operations, system reliability, and excellent service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network devices (routers, switches, access points, firewalls).
- Monitor and troubleshoot LAN/WAN/WLAN connectivity issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and ensure network security compliance.
- Provide technical support and clear communication to customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience as a Network Engineer or network technician.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, OSPF, BGP).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, MikroTik, Juniper, or similar devices.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, MTCNA, HCIA are a plus.
- Willingness to travel, work flexible hours (shifts/weekends), and be on site at customer locations.
