Job summary
LG Electronics is seeking an engineer to lead TV LCM Display Optical Design/Development. You will develop optical components and panels, review luminance and image quality, and drive standardization across the optical design process.
Qualified candidates hold a Physics or Engineering degree, have knowledge of display technology, and can use AutoCAD and optical measurement equipment. English fluency is required; Korean language skills are a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Electrical, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
- Knowledge or interest in Display and Optical Technology.
- Able to use 2D tools such as AutoCAD.
- Able to operate optical measurement equipment.
- At least 1 year of manufacturing experience is preferable; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Proficient in reading, writing and speaking English.
Responsibilities
- TV LCM Display Optical Design/Development.
- Development of LCM optical components (LEDs, optical sheets) and panels.
- Optical review analysis of display luminance and image quality.
- Part Standardize and Common Analysis.
- Management for TV LCM Display Optical Design/Development.
- Optical parts design for LCD products such as LED / Optical sheet.
- Optical measurement and improvement of LCD products.
